One Month Long Tournament
No ELO Limit
During the tournament games; players must adhere to the Summoner’s Code. Should anyone break the code, the transgression can be saved via screen shot and submitted for review by the LolReport staff.
The staff will deal with the issues at their discretion.
Games will take place in a custom game Summoner’s Rift map. The game mode is Draft. NA servers only. This game will be created by the shoutcasting team.
Games for the first week will be best out of one. The rest of the matches from week two and on will all be best out of three.
Team Composition and Scheduling:
A Team will consist of five players and one substitute. Also one of the six players must be designated as Team Captain for contact purposes. This lineup is finalized once you receive your confirmation email and cannot be changed for any reason.
Every Match will be scheduled for casting. During signup we will have a display showing the match times for each place in the bracket.
All teams must agree to be available from thirty minutes prior to their match time up to the end of their match. All matches will be scheduled with one hour of potential playtime. If the match prior to yours is shorter than an hour your Match start time will be adjusted.
Once your scheduled match time has passed you have a 10 minute window to assemble your team or you will be disqualified.
Example: Your match is scheduled for 3pm. Please be available thirty minutes before your scheduled time. The Team not assembled ten minutes after your scheduled match time is disqualified. The Casting Staff will track these times and will make the call if a Team has been disqualified. If the match prior to yours goes over into your scheduled time we apologize and will begin your match as soon as that match has ended.
Picks and Bans:
Picks and bans will be done through the draft system and are not allowed to be done in chat.
First pick will be determined by coin toss of the Casting Team. The winning team of the toss will create the game lobby for the matches. Once matches are best of three First pick for the second match will be th other team.
Note: Due to the Custom Draft System the team with “First Pick” will always start on the Blue Side of the map.
Picks choice and initial order they are chosen cannot be changed. You are allowed to trade but if one teammate does not have a specific champion in their pool they must choose from their current pool and the picks must continue.
We do know many major tournaments do not run into this issue, but this is due to major tournaments not having pool limitations and many live events do picks and bans prior to the match in chat. We had decided right from the start we do not allow picks and bans in chat due to the online nature of the tournament.
If you have made an error in your picks you must continue with the pick phase and the last pick must choose a champion on their pool of available champions. So please discuss your picks beforehand and make sure you have your order of picks ready.
If there is a technical issue in starting the picks and bans the casting Team will remake the game.
If the entire Match crashes and all teams cannot connect after picks and bans have been completed the casting team will remake the game as blind pick and all champions and summoner spells must be chosen exactly as the original match.
Each team is allowed one remake of a match. This remake is only usable in the first minute and thirty seconds of the match and before First Blood.
If any issues with a players PC or connection happen after the previous stipulations the match will continue and the player must reconnect as soon as possible. When the match is remade, the match will be blind pick and each player must choose the exact same champions and summoner spells of the aborted match.
Single Elimination Matches:
A member of the team that has First Pick will create the match. To avoid disqualification, your team must be present no later than ten minutes after the starting time
of your match. If the full team does not assemble in within ten minutes of the start time that team forfeits the match. If neither team successfully assembles, both teams forfeit the match. If one team successfully assembles, and another team does not, the fully assembled team wins after the ten minute window.
Best Out of Three Matches:
The matches starting the second will be determined by best out of three. That is, the first team to win two games wins the respective match. All three games will take place consecutively with five minute intermissions allowed upon request. The team with first pick for these games gets first pick in the first match, and the third if applicable.
**Note** Riot will award prizing to only Five Team members. The winning teams get to choose these members. We allow SUBSTITUTES for flexibility, but Riot will not award prizes to all six members. Lolreport does not control prizing being distrubited by Riot Gaming.
