Greetings summoners! Today’s Battle Track is from the extremely talented metalcore band, We Came as Romans. This song is Understanding What We’ve Grown to Be, off their album of the same title. As you can see in the video, the lyrics in the song are very compassionate and meaningful. The songwriter and guitarist of the band, Joshua Moore, wrote this song because he knows what it is like when you are too busy with life to remember that everyone around you who cares for you gives you meaning and reason to live. Even when you feel broken or worn down, you need to hold on to those around you to support you and give you strength, for living a life filled with love and compassion is the only way to truly feel alive. In order to understand what you’ve grown to be, you must understand this first.
