Greetings summoners! As you probably already know, Syndra, the Dark Sovereign, has finally been released. This formidable champion will demolish all those unprepared to face her wrath. Her incredible mind will likely dominate all those who oppose her, and to compliment her unprecedented mental ability, today’s Battle Track will be the forceful song, A Dangerous Mind, by Dutch symphonic metal band, Within Temptation. With this song, Syndra will become a force to be reckoned with on the battlefield, as her power will annihilate any who dare oppose her. So click play, queue up, and shatter your foes with Syndra’s Dangerous Mind!

And now for a special Battle Tracks Announcement:

A few faithful summoners have suggested improvements for the Battle Tracks format, and I have compiled a response. I have created a special Battle Tracks Mega Playlist on Youtube, which contains every single song that has been showcased on Battle Tracks thus far. Now you will be able to let the music play without any interruption. The playlist contains 86 songs, boasting a whopping 7 and a half hours of Battle Tracks music for your gaming pleasure! Leave it running and it will last for the longest of League of Legends gaming marathons. This is the first of a number of Battle Tracks playlists that I plan on creating in order to improve your listening experience. I hope you enjoy it!

(And once again, I apologize for the large delay in Battle Tracks content, but now that I finally have internet again after getting a new apartment, I can post more frequently.)

Battle Tracks : Jungle Trek

by HazamaTerumi on Aug 23rd, 2012 (1888 days ago)

Battle Tracks is a daily blog that supplies eargasmic music to play with League of Legends.

Quiet, summoner! Don’t make any sudden moves…. He’s coming for you…. The Pridestalker is hunting you down, and it won’t be easy to escape. That’s right, Rengar, the Pridestalker, has stalked his way into the League, and you have become his prey! He has also taken over today’s Battle Track, and is using this suspenseful song from a very well known movie to strike fear into his opponents. This is Jungle Trek, from the classic film Predator. Be careful out in the vast jungle of Summoner’s Rift, as Rengar is likely hunting you down, much like the Predator has hunted Arnold! But if you’re careful, and you keep your wits about you, you might successfully defeat him, much like Arnold defeated the Predator. *rustle* Oh no! I think he heard me! Gotta go!

Battle Tracks : Burning Leaves

by HazamaTerumi on Aug 14th, 2012 (1896 days ago)

Battle Tracks is a daily blog that supplies eargasmic music to play with League of Legends.

Greetings, summoners! For today’s Battle Track I have a new song from Finish folk metal band Ensiferum. The song is called Burning Leaves, from their upcoming album Unsung Heroes, which is set to be released later this month, on the 27th of August. The band members of Ensiferum refer to their genre as “heroic folk metal,” which is made apparent with the new album title, and also because the word ensiferum is Latin for “sword bearer.” Will you be another forgotten, Unsung Hero, or will you be a legend whom people will sing songs for? You should click play, queue up, and find out!

Battle Tracks : New Moon

by HazamaTerumi on Aug 7th, 2012 (1903 days ago)

Greetings, summoners! I would like to start by saying sorry that I’ve been posting so sparsely as of late. This summer’s been pretty hectic for me, and I’ve had a lot to deal with, so many things had to be put on the afterburners. Now with that out of the way, I will say this …

Rejoice my fellow Lunari! The Scorn of the Moon, Diana, has finally arrived to lead the fight against the Iron Solari! To celebrate the arrival of our lunar champion, today’s Battle Track features an ominous, moon-themed song to fuel our eminent battle! The song is New Moon, by Finish doom metal band, Swallow the Sun. As the lyrics suggest, the night shall take away the life of those who will to die, but cannot. Though the Solari may not wish to die, we will make them! The night, with the Scorn of the Moon at its side, will Swallow the Sun in the upcoming battle! Embrace the Heresy!

Battle Tracks : White Willow

Battle Tracks is a daily blog that supplies eargasmic music to play with League of Legends.

Greetings summoners! With the awaited release of Zyra finally here, I figured it would be appropriate to share a decidedly nature-themed Battle Track. The song is White Willow by the Italian folk/power metal band Elvenking. The song is off their debut album, Heathenreel. The song is about a man who wondered into the woods seeking an ancient tree, which tells him his true destiny; to become the next Elvenking. Hopefully with this song you will conquer your foes with a mass of vines and thorns as the Rise of the Thorns, Zyra. May your roots ensnare the enemy and your plants bring about their eminent deaths!

Battle Tracks : Understanding What We’ve Grown To Be

by HazamaTerumi on Jul 16th, 2012 (1925 days ago)

Battle Tracks is a daily blog that supplies eargasmic music to play with League of Legends.

Greetings summoners! Today’s Battle Track is from the extremely talented metalcore band, We Came as Romans. This song is Understanding What We’ve Grown to Be, off their album of the same title. As you can see in the video, the lyrics in the song are very compassionate and meaningful. The songwriter and guitarist of the band, Joshua Moore, wrote this song because he knows what it is like when you are too busy with life to remember that everyone around you who cares for you gives you meaning and reason to live. Even when you feel broken or worn down, you need to hold on to those around you to support you and give you strength, for living a life filled with love and compassion is the only way to truly feel alive. In order to understand what you’ve grown to be, you must understand this first.

Battle Tracks : Overcome

by HazamaTerumi on Jul 5th, 2012 (1936 days ago)

Battle Tracks is a daily blog that supplies eargasmic music to play with League of Legends.

Greetings summoners! For today’s Battle Track, I have an incredibly uplifting song by American metalcore band Unearth. This is Overcome, from their most recent album, Darkness in the Light. The song is about standing together with others in times of peril and overcoming hardships that wouldn’t normally be possible by oneself. Seems fitting for a team-based game like LoL, don’t you think? With this song, you and your team will stand strong against the enemy, and overcome them in the battle for victory. (And if for some reason you lose, don’t worry. With every defeat comes lessons learned!) So click play, queue up, and Overcome the fiercest of foes!

Battle Tracks : The Taste of Regret

by HazamaTerumi on Jul 1st, 2012 (1940 days ago)

Battle Tracks is a daily blog that supplies eargasmic music to play with League of Legends.

Greetings, summoners! Today’s Battle Track features the post-hardcore band, In Fear and Faith. This song is The Taste of Regret, off their debut album, Your World on Fire. The song starts off quietly with a melodic piano entry, but then quickly explodes into an energetic wall of sound. The band is primarily a metal band, but they dabble with elements of electronica as well. Music journalist, Andrew Leahy documented In Fear and Faith’s sound as “a blend of furious instrumentation, electronic flourishes and screamo vocals” along with mentioning embracement of heavy metal while complimenting their hybrid sound of being the case why the group “were signed so quickly” and “wasted little time” doing so. So click play, queue up, and enjoy!
